The business development director of Potter Clarkson approached me to help raise the profile of the firm’s food tech team. Working with the head of the food tech, I led strategy meetings to identify target titles and develop topical themes around food tech innovation including cell-cultivated meat, and IP strategies for pioneering biotech and agritech businesses.
Objective
To secure coverage in the target titles which the team could share on LinkedIn and in marketing materials to highlight their expertise working with pioneering biotech and agritech businesses.
As the team had no existing links with the target titles and because this was a new sector for me, I focused on building new relationships with the commissioning editors at the target titles.
Results
During the four month project I secured coverage in:
- Tea and Coffee trade Journal (two pieces)
- British Baker (two pieces)
- International Pet Food (one piece)
Douglas McPherson, head of business development at Potter Clarkson said:
“Antonia worked with Potter Clarkson’s food tech team on a project addressing IP challenges facing the agriculture sector as sustainable innovations are developed.
Antonia quickly grasped what we were trying to achieve and secured some impressive coverage in target niche publications. It was a pleasure working with Antonia.”
