Impactful media coverage
for the legal sector
Welcome from Antonia
I am a firm believer that great communication both externally and internally, can drive real business results. I will provide you with enthusiastic, commercial advice and ensure that PR activity engages with your key audiences be they clients, intermediaries, employees or other stakeholders.
Having held positions at some of the UK’s leading professional services firms including Knight Frank, Allen & Overy and Howard Kennedy, I understand the pressures fee earners are under and the realities of the sectors in which they operate. Since founding Welch PR in 2015, I have grown my own freelance business considerably and am consequently sensitive to the commercial challenges facing service sector businesses.
My clients benefit from extensive experience, excellent press contacts and flexible support without the overheads encountered when appointing an agency.
As a freelancer, I ensure that my approach remains dynamic and fresh by networking with other PR professionals. For example, I was invited to join the committee of the PRCA’s legal sector group which comprises PR professionals working in-house at international law firms and from Byfield Consultancy, a leading communications agency.
I am always happy to talk to anyone looking for PR assistance, without any obligation, so do feel free to get in touch.
“Antonia provided Kemp Little with PR support in the 18 months running up to our merger with Deloitte Legal. Antonia was energetic, reliable, and easy to work with. She has a great instinct for the types of issues that will be of interest to the media and this led to an impressive flow of coverage in national newspapers and business magazines.”

When project-based PR makes more sense than a retainer
Not every law firm needs ongoing PR support every month. Some firms have an in-house marketing team but need specialist legal PR input for a particular announcement. Others may only have occasional news to share or want experienced PR support without committing to a...
